We are looking for a proactive and passionate Senior Back-end Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our fast-growing startup from Denmark.

Requirements

Must haveBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant experience with the development of digital cloud-based solutions is required. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Experience with Typescript or JavaScript (Node.js, Nest.Js) Experience with Data/load testing, and automation of unit/integration tests. Experience with Cloud-based microservice architecture Experience with Deployment in cloud environments (AWS or similar). Experience with Integration between external and internal IT systems (Rest API, gPRC, event-based communication, etc) Experience in financial, payments or billing processes is advantageous. English level B2Will be a plusExperience with Express.js, Docker, Redis, Swagger, JestAmbitious on behalf of our customers, our company, and yourself, whilst focusing on excellent execution.Have a high sense of ownership in your workExcellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels in an organizationA passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.Care about how your work and attitude affect those who are around you - you are an active participant not only in technical activities but in creating an open and friendly environment in the team.

Responsibilities

Writing methods for processing documents related to financial documentation (aggregation, filtering, etc.).Writing tests with a very high percentage of code coverage.Setting up interaction processes between microservices.Solution architecture in a microservices-based context. Design, development, and documentation of software components with a strong focus on scalability and security Performance optimization Data consistency and integrity Collaborating with DevOps to ensure continuous integration and delivery Drive the adoption of automated testing Ensure quality of releases and best practice coding standards

As a Back-end Software Developer, you will be part of our Payments Team developing solutions for automated payment and billing within the EV industry. You will report to the Head of Engineering and work closely with internal and near-shore colleagues in the product development team and our external partners.
