We're looking for a seasoned .NET Engineer for our UK customer (http://watchmycompetitor.com/) that owns a fully automated competitor tracking, market data, brand analysis & social media monitoring SaaS platform. Powered by AI. Refined by analysts. Introduction As a Software Engineer, the candidate will play a significant role in the team responsible for building competitor tracking SaaS platform. The candidate will actively participate in design, development, testing, release and production support aspects of the software development lifecycle, often driving them and supporting the team in making right decisions to solve the problems, as well as, taking ownership of the built services. The candidate will build solutions aligned with company-wide rules of engagement and standards and will work closely with the team and leadership to improve them when needed. The candidate will support team members' growth and promote an open, learning culture. Responsibilities Design, build, deploy and support SaaS services following company standards Work closely with Lead Software Engineer, UX Designer and other business areas to ensure the requirements are clearly captured; implement them and demonstrate the solution to the Stakeholders before delivery Deliver high quality solutions using automated processes (CI/CD, automated testing) Continuously improve the owned services’ usability, performance, security, architecture, and maintainability Provide continuous feedback to the Development team and rest of the Business Skills & Experience Required Experience of working in development teams, using agile development model (Scrum or Kanban) Great communication and teamwork skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines, TDD and pipeline automation Familiarity with the microservice architecture and how to use it to build applications Knowledge of good practices, design patterns and SOLID principles Good understanding of application design and strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of .NET stack - C#, ASP.NET Core Web Apis, LINQ, asynchronous and parallel programming, dotnet tools Knowledge of relational (MySQL) and No-SQL databases and integrations patterns (EntityFramework) Knowledge of Frontend stack - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core MVC Oral and written English at least B1 level Desirable Knowledge of GCP ecosystem (or other Cloud Provider) Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools Experience with message based communication (message bus) Experience with performance profiling tools Experience with ReactNative (Mobile apps) Developing solutions with security mindset In return for your expertise and energy, we offer: Referral programme (£1000 for recommended candidates) Discretionary annual performance bonuses (cash, stock options) Challenge, opportunities to exchange skills within multinational Team Ability to work in an autonomous way and in an environment where your ideas are valued Casual and very friendly atmosphere Competitive salary aligned with experience Training package Private healthcare Sports card English classes Work is in a hybrid model 3 days from the office in Lublin, 2 days remote.
