The client developed software dedicated to AI-assisted data processing, including many different features: data annotation, transcription, audio segmentation, etc. As the application has been scaling, the project team needs a QA engineer to join it and support that growth.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Middle/Senior QA Engineer specializing in performance and load testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing the performance and scalability of web applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and scripts to uncover software defects related to performance bottlenecks, stability, and scalability issues.Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate real-world scenarios and stress-test web applications and APIs.Analyze performance test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system architects, and project managers, to understand system requirements and performance goals.Participate in the design and architecture discussions to ensure performance considerations are addressed from the outset.Work closely with the development team to implement performance monitoring and profiling tools to continuously monitor and optimize system performance.Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance testing and quality assurance.Requirements:
5+ years of experience in automation testing3+ years experience in software quality assurance with a focus on performance and load testingHands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, best practices, and techniques.Solid understanding of web technologies, protocols, and architectures (HTTP, REST, SOAP, etc.).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
