We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and well-organized Middle Data Engineer to join one of our teams at Customertimes! About the project: Our client is a global insurer and the third-largest property and casualty insurer in the United States. Customertimes is looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join our team for an insurance project! What you’ll do: • ETL implementation • Development of data pipelines, integration with different sources, data replication and validation • Infrastructure maintenance • Monitoring of daily processes • Communication with analysts and customer to get requirements and ensure a good result • Address issues related to scalability, consistency, reliability, efficiency, and maintainability It’s all about you: • 3+ years of experience and a strong understanding of AWS Data Infrastructure • 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge in services: CloudFormation, AIM, Glue, Lambda, DMS, StepFunctions, EventBridge • 3+ years of experience using Python in a Data environment • Strong knowledge and understanding of Glue Data Catalogue • Experience with IaC and SaaS paradigm • Upper-intermediate-level of English Nice to have : • Experience working with Spark • Understanding of Delta Lake • Other programming language: Scala, Java, TypeScript • Other AWS applications: Lake Foundation, Data Encryption, Event bus • Experience working with Lakes and Lakehouses • Experience with Qlik Replicate • Experience working in insurance or Fin-Tech industry company Tech Stack : • AWS • DataFlow • Delta Lake • Glue integration • Kinesis • DMS • Qlik Replicate • DataDog • CloudForge Hiring Process: • Intro call with a Recruiter (30 min) • First stage interview (1-1,5 hours) • Second stage interview (1 hour) • Reference check • Offer What we offer: Financial stability and competitive compensation depending on experience and skills B2B contract Social package – Private Medical Healthcare Transparent professional and career growth development plans Buddy system Flexible work schedule 20 working days of paid vacation leave 5 days off on demand 15 working days of paid sick leave with a certificate 4 months of paid Maternity Leave on B2B Referral Program Access to Language Learning Platform goFluent Additional training and certifications Friendly team and pleasant working environment
