PROJECT DETAILS: Industry: Life Sciences Start : ASAP Work model: 1 day per week in the Warsaw office Traveling abroad : no Lenght of contract : 12 months + extensions (long-term collaboration) Recruitment process: 2 stages (online) Equipment: provided PROJECT: Taking on this role, You will join newly established international team responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing Client’s global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a background in network operations based on ITIL best-practices, a good understanding of networking technologies, and enjoy resolving complex network issues. As a Network Operations Center Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of Client’s global network environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Help building and maturing the new internal capability for Network Operations. Create, contrib-ute, and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures. Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to mini-mize downtime and ensure optimal network functionality. Respond to alerts, incidents, and requests in a timely manner, following established procedures and protocols. Collaborate with other IT teams, including Network Architects, Systems Engineers, and Security Analysts, to troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems. Configure, install, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Participate in capacity planning and network design discussions to ensure scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure. SKILLS: Proven experience in network operations and engineering (at least 2-3 years), with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching in a mostly Cisco environment. Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., Solarwinds, SNMP, Net-Flow, Wireshark). Familiarity with security protocols and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/pre-vention systems, and VPN technologies. Familiarity with SDA / DNA Center (Catalyst Center). Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ITIL) will be an advantage. Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python) is a plus. Fluent English - in both writing and speech.
