Technology Office designs and executes industry-relevant inventions that allow organizations to realize exceptional business value from technology. We are looking for an energetic and passionate Principal Data Architect (AWS) who can bring their experience and knowledge to our Technology Office team. As a Principal Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions for our clients and develop, execute the Data & Analytics practice within the company.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary technical associate of the business improvement team in assisting customer success in creating data analytics solutionsCo-create and develop the Data & Analytics practice within company, focusing on data services and consulting offeringsLead engagement with potential clients to design software solutions (architecture) during the sales process to understand their business goals, data requirements, and technical constraints, and translate them into comprehensive data solution designsConduct in-depth analysis of existing data systems, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for architectural enhancementsDesign end-to-end data architectures, including data ingestion, storage, processing, integration, and visualization, to meet clients' specific business needsDevelop data models, data flows, and data integration strategies to ensure seamless and efficient data management across various systems and platformsProvide guidance and technical expertise to development teams in implementing data solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standardsPerform data profiling, data quality assessments, and data governance activities to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and securityCollaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics and data-driven insights through the implementation of appropriate data structures and algorithmsAct as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations and guidance on data-related initiativesBe prepared for occasional travel for client workshops, discovery phases, pre-sales activities, and lead-generation events like conferences, round tables, etc.Continuously enhance our Data and Analytics offerings, staying abreast of market needs and modern data trendsProvide mentorship and technology education internallyRequirements:
Experience in customer-facing, advising, and consultingProven experience (4+ years) working as a Data Architect or a similar role in a consulting environment with focus on AWS cloud At least 8 years experience in IT with a focus on Data EngineeringEnergetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid developmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical data solutionsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are highly desirableExperience with various kinds of models including but not limited to C4, 4+1Hands on experience documenting solution architecture and detailed designsExtensive knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, and data management toolsConversational English level (B2+)Software development-related degree or equivalent in education or experience
