Job Description As part of the Payment Product Development organization, you will be responsible to promote Agile values, principles, scrum guidelines and execute mission critical agile projects for Visa's Clearing & Settlement and Treasury systems, which clear, settle, and deliver transactions to issuer and acquirer financial institutions globally and settle funds. Through this challenging job, you will gain experience collaborating with various parts of the business in understanding requirements for system enhancements, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to the system where it is needed. The product that you oversee will be of the highest quality meeting all requirements within the scheduled timeframe. Essential Functions Work with business/product teams on requirements analysis and assist them to refine/groom the stories in Jira. Work with teams in supporting SIT, UAT and sanity testing for SWIFT products and interfacing applications. Accountable for the end-to-end planning and execution of one or more projects and/or Agile teams. Lead and negotiate scope, schedule, budget, risks, deployments and communications for projects and initiatives. Coach multiple teams through the software development life cycle using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices and work cross-functionally throughout the company to ensure projects are developed and deployed with quality and timely delivery into our production systems.  Ask thoughtful questions to help our customers, product owners, and product managers to maximize ROI and meet company objectives. Understand product strategy and benefits of key deliverables in area of responsibility. Work with product owner to promote and contribute to the improvement of the product backlog. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies. Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution. Coach team in estimation techniques. Build an environment of trust and collaboration to empower teams to be self-managed. Be familiar with the Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks and grow the maturity of the team and organization to enable effective scaling. Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences. Track and remove impediments for the team. Develop metrics and reports using Jira to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals. Lead and coach team in its Agile adoption. Lead Agile release planning. Ensure clear communication and collaboration among the Product Owner and members of the development team. Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: 8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 6 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD Certified Scrum Master CSM or equivalent. Solid understanding of Scrum events, including cadence, purpose, and attendees of each event. Knowledge of Payments related applications such as SAA (Swift Alliance Access). Must have knowledge of payment processing products and flows, SWIFT, ISO20022. Experience supporting Scrum teams that are developing and testing code on the Java / JavaScript based application is required. Excellent verbal and written skills. A demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally. Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills. Ability to delegate tasks and ensure successful task completion and influence without direct authority to achieve necessary goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project as well Agile tools including JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile, Lean methodologies. Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions. Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills. Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and organization skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent career experience is required. Additional Information This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
