We are looking for a Linux Engineer who will join Engenious family and provide professional service for our international client - a pioneer in robotics, power and automation technology industry. Our client's power grids products are built around Linux. We are looking for an embedded developer for the team that centralizes Linux knowledge, coordinates Linux efforts, and provides Linux-related support to product teams. The platform offers deep-diving in technical details of implementation of customer requirements (in-house development) combined with usage of open source components, aiming to deliver optimized Linux RT distribution. Project around the development of a platform with multiple customers and multiple hardware devices with a broad spectrum of challenges from cyber security issues to real time adaptations with hard real-time requirements. Responsibilities Create a vision and an architecture view for Linux, taking into account the needs and requirements of the various products. Accept responsibility for Linux-related processes in general Contribute actively to the integration of Linux into products Maintain Linux solutions and tools on an ongoing basis Requirements Excellent knowledge of Linux and its ecosystem, as well as a passion for Open Source Software. Contributions to Open Source Software are a big plus 5 years of experience Deep understanding of the Yocto project, as well as previous experience shipping projects with it Knowledge of Bash scripts, Python, and C/C++ is required Previous experience developing and testing embedded systems based on (but not exclusively) embedded Linux solutions Capability to collaborate in an international and multi-cultural setting Excellent communicator with the ability to understand other people's points of view and opinions, as well as good negotiating skills Fluent in both spoken and written English What can you expect Team of passionate people who love what they do  Opportunity to learn and grow  Possibility to work fully remotely Private Medical Care - INTER Polska  Co-funded Multisport Card  Possible training or certification subsidies Rate: 130-180 PLN net/h
