Sofixit is at the forefront of innovation within the IT sector, with a strong emphasis on developing and implementing highly effective and scalable Big Data solutions in the cloud. Our expertise extends to software development and comprehensive technology consulting services. We are seeking a Hadoop Engineer to join our dynamic product team. This role is crucial for designing, building, and maintaining our Hadoop-based ecosystems, which are central to our Big Data solutions.   In this position, you will be responsible for: ✓ Designing and implementing scalable Hadoop-based architectures to support big data processing and analytics. ✓  Working closely with the Development team to ensure seamless integration of Hadoop applications with existing systems. ✓  Managing Hadoop clusters , with a focus on tuning and scaling them for optimal performance. We also expect that you: ✓ Possess at least 2 years of experience working as a Hadoop Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing Hadoop ecosystems. ✓  Have a deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, HBase, Hive, and other components. ✓ Be proficient in programming languages relevant to data engineering, such as Java, Scala, or Python. ✓  Demonstrate experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) in managing and deploying Hadoop clusters. ✓ Be familiar with Agile methodologies, capable of adapting to changing requirements and priorities swiftly.
