KPMG Ukraine is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As a global organization of independent professional services firms, KPMG provides Audit, Tax, and Advisory services to clients worldwide. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and gain invaluable experience in the accounting industry. Responsibilities Manage general ledger and complete month-end closing procedures Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Prepare various tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Support audit processes and provide necessary documentation to auditors Develop and maintain financial databases and systems Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred
