-- PLEASE SEND YOUR CV IN ENGLISH --Post/Appointment of: Social Secretary with H.E AmbassadorLocation: Pakistan Embassy Kyiv, UKRAINEType of Assignment: ContractLanguages Required: Fluent in both Ukrainian and EnglishExpected Duration of Assignment: 2 years with possible extensions based onPay: USD 750/- (with annual increment)Charter of Duties ofSocial Secretary (Interpreter/ Translator) Act as Social Secretary to Ambassador and manage His Excellency’s office administration, protocol and social responsibilities. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Preparing program and making appointments of the Ambassador.Take notes of the meetings and prepare minutes.When required checking and processing of emails related to consular/administrative issues coming from within Ukraine.Attending telephone calls and responding to all queries. All documentation/translation of notes received from various Ministries / Departments of the host government (incoming and outgoing) addressed to the Ambassador’s office or as assigned.As authorized person of Embassy, interact with Foreign office.Arranging of formal functions to include venue selection & bookings, menue, seating plan, preparing & sending invitation cards etc.Receive and guide visitors / Guests to the office of the Ambassador, offer courtesies, and when asked, to do interpretation from Ukrainian to English.To make necessary coordination with all offices for issuance of airport passes, medical cards and other such requirements.Qualifications and ExperienceAge limit preferable (25 to 45 years)Preferably Master Degree in Philology (with English as a First Language)In addition, interpreter Course/diploma holders (English to Ukrainian) would be preferredMinimum 2 years relevant experience Proficiency in Ukrainian and English languages (both written and oral) are essential.Highly developed organization and communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision.Proficiency in the use of standard office IT equipment with good typing skills.Highly developed understanding of Asian and Western dining and banquet etiquettes would be a plus; an interest in food presentation is desirable.Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate H.E Ambassador’s guests invited at the Residence.Note: The Embassy reserves the right to terminate the contract on a one-month notice and this decision cannot be challenged in any court of law.Please Note:Besides other details your CV must include.Your Last Qualification.Educational Institute (University).Work Experience.English Proficiency (Written).English Proficiency (Oral/interpretation).Availability for Interview (Date).Availability for Joining (if selected).
