The recruitment is open for candidates with mid and senior experience levels Zabbix is headquartered in Riga, Latvia. The basic work sphere of Zabbix is the development of open-source software for monitoring networks and applications. The company's flagship product Zabbix is one of the most popular open-source monitoring software in the world. Join our growing team as: Cloud DevOps Engineer As a part of our team, you will: Develop and maintain Zabbix cloud platform/solutions for our customers with the most modern technologies Work closely with our development and integration teams to help design and implement cloud solutions Educate teams on the implementation of cloud technologies Continuously work to improve existing systems and make recommendations based on the product owner and client needs Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy cloud-based infrastructure and solutions What we expect: Technical background (university studies and/or related experience) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS - preferable, Azure or GCP) Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible (proficiency in both is considered a plus) Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash - preferable, or PowerShell for automation tasks) Knowledge of database management systems (both deploying and maintaining) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar) Knowledge of networking and virtualization/containerization concepts Experience with monitoring and logging tools Understanding version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies Very good English language skills both written and speaking High sense of responsibility, motivated to work in a dynamic environment, and team-oriented personality What we offer: Unique opportunity to use on an expert level one of the most known monitoring software in the world Work in the international business environment (Zabbix has subsidiary offices in Latvia, Japan, and Brazil) Additional payments for evening or night support shifts Paid leave in case of vacation or sick time Company's training courses, professional conferences
