Do you want to work in an amazing team that supports and develops our Data Foundation platform in Commercial space ? About the job Join our commercial IT organization, which is an area that benefits from an increased focus and activity. As a Senior Data Engineer you will be supporting the continuous rollout and optimization of our global Data Foundation footprint in Microsoft Azure and other platforms. The role will include: • Execute deliverables in the agile team, incl. Daily Scrums • Provide technical expertise and support in case of system issues coming from projects • Provide consulting and advice on how to leverage existing system functionality in our processes • Safeguard development standards • Develop scalable solutions which are up to date with the newest technologies • Be a sparring partner for other colleagues and Architect to discuss complex problems Who are you? You will work with Data Foundation developers and scientists, cooperating often with other teams inside and outside of Commercial Train. Together you will develop and deliver solutions in rollouts, projects and high complexity demands. To succeed we imagine you can tick off the following areas: · Experience with cloud based services and technologies (Microsoft Azure , Databricks) · Working knowledge of writing SQL and working with both relational and no-SQL dB’s · Proficiency in Python, R, Scala or another programming language · Proficiency in working with Azure DevOps, git and branching strategies · Knowledge of data modelling techniques and data pipeline technologies Additionally, it would be advantageous if you possess: • Experience in working with Agile methodology • Experience within FMCG and Sales processes What do we offer?
