As a Senior Data Engineer at Inter Cars S.A., you will play a crucial role in shaping our data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions. Responsibilities: Become a member of a Core team of developers and help us shape the future of our data engineering and build an event sourcing architecture. Design and develop data structures, pipelines and ETL processes to help move and transform terabytes of data between the applications. Execute Data Governance practices, keeping our data secure, transparent and in good quality. Optimize data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience 5+ years in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and distributed data storage systems. Good understanding of relational databases and practical SQL. Good understanding of no relational databases like HBase, Hive, Casandra, Scylla. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, or similar. What do we offer?
