These high-performant real-time systems connect to power exchanges, and they use smart and highly parametrizable built-in algorithms for trading on these exchanges. Our customers are producers and traders of energy. We are now looking for a Customer Support Engineer who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.   What you will be doing to make a difference: Support our customer in their daily operation making sure they are able to use our software in the best possible way. Act as a bridge between support, developers and operations within an agile organization. Perform operational tasks such as configuration changes, deployments, and monitoring. Provide feedback to development teams to make services easier to support. Be involved in the definition and implementation of Objective Key Results. Learn about a fascinating business domain with lots of growth opportunities. What you need to succeed: You have a strong IT background: Our services are hosted in AWS and Azure with Docker and Kubernetes. You have good knowledge of the SaaS environment. You have experience in handling REST APIs. You are a problem solver: You enjoy troubleshooting and ideally you have some years of experience in providing technical support for business applications. You have an analytical mind: because support issues are often complex, you need the drive and the capacity to dig deep. An academic degree is useful but not essential. You have business domain knowledge: knowledge of the energy industry, especially trading, is an advantage but not a prerequisite. You are a team player: you will collaborate with support colleagues, developers of the different software products, the infrastructure, and customer success teams. You are a great communicator: you have excellent communication skills, and you don't mind writing or talking to a customer occasionally. You should be able to communicate fluently in English.
