Summary
The IT company Andersen invites a Junior QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for our Canadian partner.
The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company's network consists of over 47 companies, with annual transactions exceeding $1 billion and a team of 1,680 travel experts.
The project is testing the whole front and logic, but with an emphasis on the API.
Responsibilities
Testing APIs.Conducting regression tests.Performing UI testing.Reporting and investigating bugs.Creating and documenting test cases to align with user stories.Providing assessments of test results to team members and collaborating with them on resolution.Developing, establishing, and executing quality assurance measures and testing standards for new and existing applications and products.Ensuring that testing activities enable applications to meet business requirements and system goals, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.Communicating test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project team members.Reviewing test results, reporting any exceptions, and preparing the required documentation for signoff and implementation into the production environment.Maintaining existing Quality Assurance scripts and documentation.Actively participating in team meetings and offering recommendations/ideas on initiatives.Requirements
API testing knowledge and experience.Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills to create and execute test plans.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with cross functional teams and ability to work independently.Ability to test software from a technical and non-technical perspective.Excellent time management skills and the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.Superior time management, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet set timelines with minimal supervision.Level of English – from Intermediate.Desired skills
