As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, on a transformative project focusing on IT infrastructure and security enhancement. Your main responsibilities: Building and maintaining large-scale database systems on-premises and in the cloud Automating workflows and processes to ensure system reliability and efficiency Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to support incident management Conducting root cause analysis for major incidents and managing service delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain solutions that protect the company You're ideal for this role if you have: Strong understanding of MSSQL and PostgreSQL database engines Proficiency in SQL and database design principles Cloud: GCP/AWS/Azure Automation / Configuration as Code: Ansible Containerization, Orchestration: Docker Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm Monitoring: Application Dynamics Experience with ITIL compliant Change and Incident Management processes Knowledge of RHEL, Windows Server, and cloud-based databases-as-a-service Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages Understanding of Continuous Integration/Delivery tools and vulnerability management processes It is a strong plus if you have: Experience with Scrum methodologies and Agile team management Knowledge of: RedHat (RHEL) Windows Server ITIL / Agile delivery experience: Jira, Service Now IP networking and network security Troubleshooting skills Kubernetes; GKE Logging: Splunk Code: Bash, Python, PowerShell An understanding of the Vulnerability Management processes We offer you: ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
