Job Title: CopywriterLocation: London / HybridFull time 37.5 hours per weekPermanentSalary: Competitive with a range of exceptional benefits We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our corporate marketing team based in London. Working as part of a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive team, you’ll deliver first-class copy to support HCA Healthcare UK’s marketing and comms divisions. Encompassing everything from internal comms and customer-facing campaigns to information brochures and engaging, high-performing web copy, your days will be varied and rewarding.As an experienced copywriter, you’ll need to be confident when it comes to overseeing copywriting briefs, and not afraid to push back (politely) for clarification or missing information when needed. Your excellent communication skills will be put to good use liaising with designers, marketing managers and other members of the wider team to make sure all of our creative projects are on schedule, on budget and on point.You’ll manage briefs from multiple HCA UK stakeholders. That means, as well as copywriting, you’ll be managing our network of external copywriters and agencies, liaising with designers, project managers and marketeers, to ensure dynamic, audience-appropriate content that fulfils the brief and hits the right tone every time.Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. Respond to briefs quickly and effectively, making sure client needs are understood and met.Build strong relationships with all internal clients, ensuring good communication at all times.Offer copy support and advice to colleagues, including editing and proofreading copy produced by other writers. Ensure all copy is brand and audience appropriate.Have a deep understanding of the brand tone of voice guidelines, and ensure all copy complies. Be audience aware – understand the specific needs of your target audience and ensure that your copy is appropriate.Seek out and monitor feedback on your work, ensuring that all copy meets its communications objectives.Ensure all copy is accurate and approved by the relevant stakeholders.Make sure timelines are sufficient to get the necessary copy approvals.Responsible for making sure all content is clinically appropriate and approved.Ensure copy complies with copyright restrictions.Work with external resources and agencies to provide copy for marketing projects and communications.Provide copy where needed to support the work of external agencies.Manage external resources and agencies to ensure deadlines are met.What you’ll bring: Demonstrable experience of healthcare copywriting in a marketing, publishing or creative agency environment. A relevant degree or copywriting qualification. Exceptional communication skills to manage and influence stakeholder engagement and collaborate effectively on project work. Demonstrable experience of working within a large organisation, including adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice. Excellent time management, with experience of working to multiple deadlines at pace.
