Find your future with us.Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Structural & Design Engineer to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.Position Responsibilities:Knowledge of the business and organization operations.Knowledge of policies, practices, trends and information affecting the business and organization.Understanding the competition and the marketplace.Understanding how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network.Understanding the cultures of organizations. Ability to apply this.information in a way that contributes to the organizations strategic plan and bottom line. Required Skills: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required for this position.Fluent spoken and written EnglishAircraft structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes, for 777 airplane model in particular as must.Aircraft systems, components and loadable/non-loadable software, for 777 airplane model in particular as must.Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, develop conclusions.Assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities and data needed for defining delivery configurations, for 777 airplane model in particular as must.Computer aided design tools and systems (CATIA, Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics), drawing/data systems (PDM) and configuration management principles and processes.Material processing for metals, sealants and finishes processing.Structural design principles and practices, structural repair principles, overhaul, nondestructive inspection, corrosion control.Capability to work effectively with supplier technical team in assessing product/system issues or designs.Existing rights work in Ukraine are required.Preferred Skills:Ability to evaluate complex vehicles and systems from a multitude of perspectives.Boeing design, production, and build processes, design concepts and techniques.Producibility and process improvement methodologies (6-Sigma etc.).Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas.Familiarity with various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.Familiarity with responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines as well as interaction between departments/disciplines.Project and supplier techniques required for supplier's technical activities management.Ability to develop technical requirements and evaluate supplier performance.Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
