This can vary from helping our European customers remain compliant with the numerous EU regulations that govern their HGV driver’s activities, to helping our global customers reduce the amount of fuel they consume by coaching for better driver behaviour.  Primarily operating across web and mobile, we collaborate closely with product managers, product designers and firmware engineers to build out our feature sets. Golang, GraphQL, Typescript, React and React Native are some of the components of our technology stack. Direct experience with these technologies is not required Be responsible for maintaining the production systems that your team owns and provide operational support Help build the culture of the team and make it an enjoyable place to work Solve problems that enable our product for our global customers Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices    Minimum requirements for the role: Has min. 7+ years of experience in playing a key role in a skilled software engineering team (keep in mind we do not require knowing our stack- we are happy to teach you if your background is in Java, Python, C++ and similar) Experience designing and building products in a skilled software engineering team  Track record of leading design, development, deployment and maintenance of distributed, highly scalable software systems Demonstrated expertise in a technical area with influence across engineering teams Experience mentoring and supporting engineers and role modeling excellent engineering practices within a technical lead capacity Experience taking end-to-end ownership of product, feature designs, development and delivery of large scale and long running projects Proactive growth mindset, always looking at ways to improve the status quo Wants to own and build out new features end to end Is interested in working at scale in an engineering-first organisation  At Samsara, we welcome all.
