Scala Developer Remote work with possibility to travel to Riga (max once a quarter) We are seeking a talented and motivated Scala Developer to join dynamic software development team in Large media company in the Netherlands and Belgium . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional programming and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using Scala and related technologies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Utilize functional programming techniques to build robust and scalable solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to improve code quality and team efficiency. Requirements: Proven experience as a Scala Developer, with a strong understanding of Scala and its ecosystem.
