About the role We are looking for a versatile and seasoned mid-level/regular Python/Django developer to join our Polish team working remotely, mainly for a US-based long-term customer. Responsibilities Develop new features for Django projects (75% backend, 25% frontend), Maintain and improve existing projects using Python 3.8 and Django 4.x, Migrate projects to newer Django and Python versions, with a long-term goal of Django 5.x LTS, Research and integrate new technical solutions and third-party libraries, Conduct code reviews and refactor code, Implement unit and integration tests; Requirements 2+ years of experience with Python 3.8 and newer, 1 year of experience with Django 3.x and/or 4.x, experience with designing and building REST APIs (Django Rest Framework), mid-level knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, Vanilla JS and jQuery, good command of English (reading/writing documentation), work-time flexibility and strong ability to self-organize work; Nice to have Understanding concept of micro-services based systems architecture, Familiarity with SQL and MySQL, Experience with Bootstrap 4 and 5, Basic Node/npm experience (building webpack), Familiarity with Python Celery; What We Offer: Be a part of the team that works for the most influential global brands.
