As Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, we belong to the Rhenus Group, which is one of the leading providers of global logistics services. Rhenus Warehousing Solutions has planned to implement Blue Yonder (BY) WMS in the warehouses across the globe. In order to provide the best value for our operational sites and customers, Rhenus will build up a strong internal WMS organization. This organization will consist of a central BY WMS Competence Center (CC) and Regional Implementation Centers, which will work together with Blue Yonder center and other internal and external partners. For the CC and the Implementation Centers, Rhenus is looking for WMS professionals who combine a deep understanding of warehousing business and processes, and a profound knowledge of BY WMS. We are currently looking for talents to join our global IT structures in Warehousing Solution Business Unit and who will work from our office in Warsaw, Poland . Blue Yonder Solution Architect What you can expect: Support Rhenus Business Development projects as consultative seller. Collect the business cases of the prospects and customers and identify the value opportunities from IT. Be an assertive partner for the customers and Rhenus stakeholders to define WMS requirements as input for solution design and delivery and which gives optimal value for both the business and for IT continuity also on the longer term. Plan the delivery of IT solutions in projects e.g. estimate the need manhours from the different types of IT specialists as well as the risks. Review projects, promote learning and drive and manage the development of the Rhenus WMS Core, i.e. the standardized technical building blocks and functional templates which can be re-used across the warehouses and customer operations. Push project teams to make maximum use of the configuration possibilities of BY WMS and not move into development. Push to make maximum use of the available WMS solution standards (Rhenus “Core”). Steer and support development of extensions and integrations when confirmed necessary and within the change and development policies of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions. Design and deliver solutions in innovation projects e.g. for mechanization and robotization as well in (complex) customer implementation projects and process improvements. Manage scope and risks in cooperation with business project managers. Support project teams where needed in every aspect both functional and technical, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, configuration, report and label generation, troubleshooting, system testing & programming. Coach and develop Rhenus (junior) BY WMS consultants. Ensure BY WMS trainings to IT and logistic professionals in Rhenus. Contribute to the professional development of Rhenus BY WMS organization, IT policies, processes, ways-of-working and tools. Steer to clear organization structure between project teams and standing organizations. Represent Rhenus in the BY customer communication structures e.g. the Special Interest Groups What you bring: University or higher professional education degree and working and thinking level in relevant area, such as industrial engineering, supply chain management or information technology. This can be compensated with 10 years of working experience in the logistics industry. >10 years of experience in WMS projects in different subject matter roles both implementation and upgrade projects and support, of which 5 years in Blue Yonder WMS. >5 BY WMS implementation projects in a business environment with complex, multi-location (preferably international) supply chains and with the responsibility to configure WMS making use of Company WMS standard and related policies Profound knowledge of the functional and technical characteristics of Blue Yonder WMS (or a similar top end WMS solution such as Manhattan, SAP, ..). BY certification is a plus. Proven experience with BY WMS technical components a.o. MOCA, PL-SQL, Integrator, Jasper-Reports, Groovy, Page Builder, label etc. Assertiveness to lead discussions with both Rhenus and customer experts to an optimal solution and to protect the quality and continuity of the service. Ability to lead and work effectively with large business and IT teams. Skilled communicator to all levels of the business and IT, from warehouse floor to boardroom Enthusiastic, inspiring, flexible and self-motivating Available for person hired and living in Poland: The possibility to be a part of newely created team within BY competence center Work in international environment, with multinational teams Work from a well-located office in Warsaw Work in a hybrid model Using private medical care package co-financed by the company (Medicover) Advantage of group insurance for yourself and family members Using a Multisport card co-financed by the company Monthly salary plus bonus agreement based on performance
