Scope of Function:
A Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing billing, customer care, and other related processes in a telecommunications company by gathering requirements, developing solutions, and investigating new business requests. They document requirements for BSS/OSS/IT systems and solutions, facilitate meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams, participate in testing and implementing new features, find solutions to complex business problems related to BSS systems and processes, and prepare documentation and user instructions. The ultimate goal is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of BSS operations while ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and solutions for all stakeholders involved
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize business processes in the BSS area (billing, ordering, provisioning, etc.)Investigate new business requests and analyze feasibility and impact on BSS, OSS and IT systems and processesDevelop requirements for BSS/OSS/İT system functionalityPrepare business requirements for BSS/OSS/İT solutions within projectsFacilitate meetings with stakeholders and technical teams to gather and clarify requirementsTranslate technical language into business language to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutionsTranslate business language into technical language to ensure clear understanding of requirements by technical teamsParticipate in testing and implementing new features in BSS systemsFind solutions to complex business problems related to BSS systems and processes
Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:
At least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications and BSS fieldKnowledge of business process analysis methodologies (BPMN, UML)Proficient in SQL and experience working with databasesKnowledge of BSS system functionality and operation principlesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information TechnologiesExperience working with JIRA and ConfluenceAbility to facilitate meetings and clearly communicate technical information to business stakeholdersAbility to translate technical language into business language and vice versaAbility to investigate new business requests and analyze feasibility and impact on BSS systems and processesAbility to find solutions to complex technical problems related to BSS systems and processesAbility to work in a team and focus on resultsAnalytical mindset and ability to find non-standard solutions.
